making sure a value doesnt already exist in an arrayList

Hi, ArrayList test = new ArrayList(); if (test.Contains("ObjectA")) { } test.Contains return a bool value. Within the contains method, the argument can be any object - string, int, etc. Good Luck!

Hi...... the Point should be object of any type....so first check if it already exist in that arrayList by the method Contains(Object yourPoint)....if this method return true so that the point is there in the List otherewise (return flalse) it is not there and u should use Insert or Add to add ur point to the List..
