Loading spinner hiding

Hi all,

I added font awesome loading spinner in wpf xaml file, When I'm calling service I need to enable the spinner after success response need to hide the spinner, How we can achieve this.

Note: I tried with "Name" of the font awesome but it's not working

Hi Dorababu, Thank you for your solution, but when I'm placing loading panel code into xaml file able see the spinner on the design screen but with button click it's not showing that is the problem facing now

Hi Rama Krsihna, for the earlier code just add the following in button click and try. We need to do some async await operation for your api call. Here I am doing a simple one
private async void btnCustom_Click(object sender, System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs e)
        {
            btnCustom.IsEnabled = false;
            PanelMainMessage = "Cusotm";
            PanelSubMessage = "This is sub";
            this.ShowPanelCommand.Execute(null);

            var result = await Task.Run(() => WorkThenWait());
            if (result == 1)
                this.HidePanelCommand.Execute(null);
            Console.WriteLine("started");
            //child.Wait();
            Console.WriteLine("completed");
        }

        async Task<int> WorkThenWait()
        {

            Thread.Sleep(1000);
            return 1;
            //await Task.Delay(1000);

I checked like that also, I mean removing api call and then showing only spinner but that is also it's showing

Have you checked my code in button click event I am firing this, may be your result is getting fast so the control is not getting visible. Are you using the same I posted or the different one?

Actually what I'm trying is when I click on button spinner has to show middle of page and then when i get success response it has to close automatically. please see below screenshot

You can try with a message box if result success

I added a button and in the event handle I have written this which is working
private void btnCustom_Click(object sender, System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs e)
        {
            int hide = -1;
            PanelMainMessage = "Cusotm";
            this.ShowPanelCommand.Execute(null);
        }

Are you passing the default text as per the example or of your own? Just comment the one which is hiding the panel and see whether it is showing the loading panel

I'm not getting any error but it's not firing i think

What error you are getting? Where you are triggering this event, can you post the sample code

You can change the position as per your requirement by adjusting the position or may be aligning the vertical position to center.

Thank you for your reply, I'm getting error for "ctr". I added "xmlns:ctr="clr-namespace:LoadingPanelSample.Controls" but still it's giving error.

I have used this one recently and modified the code as per my need

this.ShowPanelCommand.Execute(null);
use this above line to trigger it manually on any button click
this.HidePanelCommand.Execute(null);
To hide after your operation completed use this one
