its just a simple page i developed in asp .net with AJAX post functionality with javascript. let me explain detailed.

 

i have a dropdown list with date ranges, when i select a daterange in the drop down i retrivew the data from database through webmethod (AJAX post) and showing the data in a html table. there are nealy 600 records, it is taking 5 to 6 seconds to build the table. what i want is for this 5 to 6 seconds i want to show the processesing image like follows.. to hold the user until the data loading complete

It's easy, but if you don't know is a bit a little difficult, you need to implement Ajax, https://www.w3schools.com/jquery/jquery_ajax_intro.asp. If you are using ASP.NET you can use Asp:UpdatePanel together https://riptutorial.com/asp-net/example/30921/update-panel-example

 

But I don't know what kind of project are you using, so if you tell me it could be better the answer.
