Javascript validation on click of button!

Dear friends! I have a following problem. I have one datagrid in which i am generating dynamic checkboxes by binding data from database. Now I want to check whether any of these checkbox is checked on click on this button and prompt a message to the user. This button is out of datagrid.Ok. Please help! Thanks and Regards! Amol!

myButton.Attributes.Add("onclick", "checkFunction()"); ... wat if the checkFunction() accepts a value like checkFunction(name), how do i passed the value of a webcontrol textbox?

I guess this button is the server control. If so, add to your code-behind something like this: myButton.Attributes.Add("onclick", "checkFunction()"); The checkFunction is the name of JavaScript function you use to validate data. Mike
