JavaScript function to add specified minutes to a Date object Error

Hello All,

I am writing a function to add Specified minutes to a data object and i am getting error..

And the function i used is

console.log(add_minutes(new Date(2014,10,2), 30).toString());

Can you guys help me??

4. date.setMinutes(date.getMinutes() + min);

You can use this to add minutes to date.

Hello,

I have created a function that takes the input as number of minutes to be added to the date. You can try this code

var date = new Date();
var datetime = date.getDate() + "/"
+ (date.getMonth()+1) + "/"
+ date.getFullYear() + " @ "
+ date.getHours() + ":"
+ date.getMinutes() + ":"
+ date.getSeconds();
// Pass the number of minutes that you want to add in the function as parameter
function add_minutes(min){
date.setMinutes(date.getMinutes()+min)
}
// I have added 30 minutes to my date
add_minutes(30);
console.log("Date with added minutes: ", date);

var dt = new Date();
dt.setMinutes(dt.getMinutes() + 30);
console.log(dt);

You can use like this to add minutes to date.
