Interfacing ASP.NET C# application with a php application

I'm working on a web application using asp.net. Now my management team wants me to build an interface between a php application and my application....

The idea is that when some data is entered into the php application it should automatically add it to my application to.....

Is it possible???

If yes how???

Please give me a quick reply as I've a deadline to catch.....
