Please help me ,am getting an error : Insertion Fails Cannot insert null values into some field"
actually that field is a pk field,why this happens ,plz help me am with error for last two days plzzzzz help me

many of the times we add a new Column to the existing table, but we forget to make it "Allow null". So this might one of the reason.

Can you post the script of the table?

You need to set this, or else if you have a non-nullable column, with no default error, if you provide no value it will error.

To set up auto-increment in SQL Server Management Studio:

Open your table in Design
Select your column and go to Column Properties
Under Indentity Specification, set (Is Identity)=Yes and Indentity Increment=1
