Hi, I am about to start on an import utility, in c#, but have no background as to how, what, where... Can anyone point me in the right direction? Maybe places where i can get code samples or an explanation of how to go about this?

As with all programming projects, it is better to define the requirements first; as in Secrets of Successful Software Requirements. What formats are you supporting? Will it be very generalized in the sense of supporting conversion from a variety of formats and to a variety of formats, or will it only import to and export from a database?

1) What is the input format of the Import utility?
2) What you want to import? From where to where ?
