Iam getting the error while creating angular4 project

Update the @angular/cli package in package.json and run "npm install".

       Actually  it showing still the error module of  devkit/core is not found I reintalled the nodejs sofware. But still iam getting the same error.I followed the steps which you and dutt had posted but still its not working out.i deleted the node module folder and all related to angular project folder and after installing the node js I also given the npm path which we give in environment variables  still the I stuck with same error.....  :-(

I faced the same issue and to get rid of I removed node_module folder after that remove package.lock.json file.

 

Then, intall npm by using this command

"npm install".

    i followed 2 procedures which you have provided

Executed npm i @angular-devkit/core command in my current project location folder and i got required devkit files in my project folder but when i continued my project creation the same error is throwing up "Cannot find module '@angular-devkit/core'."

and i also executed npm install -g @angular/cli command in project folder still iam getting the same error.is there anything to change with administrator credentials?. because i google for the the issue  @angular-devkit/core not found in the below link

First execute npm i @angular-devkit/core command and if successfully executed then check your prob is solved or not . If same problem then follow below steps:

Go to the location where you want to create the project of angular and execute :npm install -g @angular/cli command and when successfully completed check which version has added by ng -v command . After that run the ng new new-app for creating new application.
