I have a problem with programming in Pocket PC

I've programming the program that recieve the images from PC.
My Program can only recieve 1 pic/sec.
If I Programming more than this rate then my program will not responding.
(My Image is .bmp and small size)

I want to know "My Programming is bad ?" or "The resource of pocket pc is not enough"

If "My Programming is bad"
Can you suggest me the solution ?
