i remember saying that VB.NET was easier to learn that C#. Well im now finding it the other way around.
Now that i get into the language and start understanding properties, variables, classes and instances ect it all seems to much less verbose than VB.
So i am glad i took the feedback from you guys and to stopped moaning as much and comparing languages :)
The persistance has paid off and now understanding a lot of C# (and long nights after work with eyes half shut reading books till all hours in the morning) but all good!

The design of the C# language is based on C++ with improvements based on Java; Java is also based on C++ in many ways. C++ was partially designed for the purpose of writing the Unix operating system; C++ was definitely a serious languge from the beginning.
