There are several methods that you can use to remove elements from JavaScript arrays
- pop - Removes data from the End of an Array
- shift - Removes data from the beginning of an Array
- splice - removes data from a specific Array index
- filter - allows you to programmatically remove specific elements from an Array
var months  = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10];
months.splice(5, 1);

// output will be -[ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 ]

You could use splice method to delete a specific index.
const months = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12];

months.splice(2, 1);
console.log(months);
// output: [1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12]
First parameter to splice is index at which it should start deleting the elements and second parameter is number of elements it should delete starting from specified index.

Hi ,You can't remove index from an array , because array always stores items on the behalf of index. So You can't remove index from an array .
