how we use popup control

HELLO

i have a datalist and bound with hyperlink .when i click on perticuler hyperlink ,it will open a window with regarding details,i want show this detail on mouse over in ajax popup control,but i getting fail bcoz popup need a control id while hyperlink a child control of datalist control.

how i will resolve this problem

You can do this with client script I mean javascript and html, you add a div element and you configure it as you need but dont forget to set its position property to absolute, then visibility to false.
make use of the top and left and visibility properties within the mouse over to make appear the div in the appropiate location, that's more performant.
