Hi,

Update panel will stop the jquery datepicker at that case you will follow the given code..
$(function () {
Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_pageLoaded(EndRequestHandler);
function EndRequestHandler(sender, args) {

$(“#ContentPlaceHolder1_txtAdmissionDate”).datepicker();
}
});
