Hi All, How to use a COM DLL in .NET? (I did add COM DLL thru Add Reference,and now without registering it z not working) DO we need to register COM DLL if we included in .NET application Is there any way to use COM DLL without registering. How to Create a Primary Interop Assembly.(Is it Using TlbImp.exe) Kindly give a reply with Example. Thanks ALL, V

you must always register you COM dll before using it in either visualstudio 6.0 clients or .NET clients. you could create the interop using the following command. tlbimp "c:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ADO\msado26.tlb" /out:Interop.MSADO26.DLL with this, you have to first register msado26.tlb and then you could add a reference to Interop.MSADO26.DLL in you .NET client application.
