How to update ASP.net Framework on IIS 8

How we can change ASP. NET version on IIS 8

as the current asp version 4.0.3 is vulnerable and i want to update it with the latest one. already installed .net framework 4.5 on the server but no success.

Hi Rahul,

You can try by running below command from the Visual Studio command prompt or after navigating to the framework folder.
aspnet_regiis-i
The above command will register the .NET framework in IIS. Please not that first step is to install the .NET target framework and then register it.
