how to subtract 30 days in date

date = 01/06/2019 (This is my date)

how to subtract 30 days in current date and that date is greater than my date(ie 01/06/2019)

DateTime MyDate = Convert.ToDateTime("01/06/2018");

DateTime NewDate = MyDate.AddDays(30);

Console.WriteLine(NewDate); //Print the date + 30 days

int value = DateTime.Compare(MyDate, NewDate);

if (value > 0)

Console.Write("MyDate is grather than NewDate. "); //or write the desired code

else if (value < 0)

Console.Write("MyDate is less than NewDate. "); //or write the desired code

else

Console.Write("MyDate is the same as NewDate. "); //or write the desired code

Refer below links,

Cast your VARCHAR value to DATETIME and add -30 for subtraction. Also, In sql-server the format Fri, 14 Nov 2014 23:03:35 GMT was not converted to DATETIME. Try substring for it:

SELECT DATEADD(dd, -30, CAST(SUBSTRING ('Fri, 14 Nov 2014 23:03:35 GMT', 6, 21) AS DATETIME))
