How to split the particular data table from data set?

i have multiple data table in data set. Example i have 8 data tables in data set i want split the particular data table and stored to another data table using c#. how to do it.

Hi,
Suppose you have a Dataset ds with with multiple tables in it. Now you need to remove one table from that dataset and copy that table to another datatable.
So here is the code for that-
DataTable dtnew = ds.Tables[0]; //copy specific table to one datatable dtnew
ds.Tables.Remove(dtnew); // Now that table is removed from dataset.

Hi Raja,
Below is the code to copy the table from the dataset and sort it on the basis of "ID" column:
DataView d1t=ds.Tables[2].Copy().DefaultView;
d1t.Sort = "ID";
DataTable finalNewTable=d1t.ToTable();
Remove that table from the dataset:
dsNominations.Tables.RemoveAt(2);
dsNominations.AcceptChanges()

olddataset.Tables.Add(newDataTable("Tabl1"));
olddataset.Tables.Add(newDataTable("Tabl2"));

DataTableolddatatable=olddataset.Tables["Tabl1"];
//removethedatatablefromolddataset
olddataset.Tables.Remove(olddatatable);
olddataset.AcceptChanges();//committhechanges
//createanewdataset
DataSetnewDataset=newDataSet();
//Addtheolddatatable
newDataset.Tables.Add(olddatatable);
newDataset.AcceptChanges();//committhechanges

Hi,
You can try below code -
DataTable dtnew = ds.Tables[0];
ds.Tables.Remove(dtnew);
Above code will remove first datatable from dataset and add it to dtnew datatable.

You can use below method to split your datatable in the multiples.

newDt.TableName="Table_"+j;
newDt.Clear();
foreach(DataRowrowinoriginalTable.Rows)
{
DataRownewRow=newDt.NewRow();
newRow.ItemArray=row.ItemArray;
newDt.Rows.Add(newRow);
i++;
if(i==batchSize)
{
tables.Add(newDt);
j++;
newDt=originalTable.Clone();
newDt.TableName="Table_"+j;
newDt.Clear();
i=0;
}
}
if(newDt.Rows.Count>0)
{
tables.Add(newDt);
j++;
newDt=originalTable.Clone();
newDt.TableName="Table_"+j;
newDt.Clear();
}
returntables;
}
in the above example, you should pass the maximum data table rows as an parameter batchsize.
