How to shrink database through query?

dont write anything in your database ID , target percentage is nothing but how much you wnant to shrink database i.e 100%.50% and so on . But , depeneds how much you can shrink and how much database shrink can be done ..

Hi Suraj,

Execute below query in sql server

ALTER DATABASE MyDatabase SET RECOVERY SIMPLE

GO

DBCC SHRINKFILE (MyDatabase_Log, 5)

GO

ALTER DATABASE MyDatabase SET RECOVERY FULL

GO
