How to run a console program hidden

I get no open window when I run it. I just tried sticking in a message box too, and that showed, with no other window at all. Running on Windows XP Pro. If I have my Output Type set to Console Application, then yes, I get the popup Command Window that has the Console.Writeline message in it, but if I have my Output Type set to Windows Application, I don't have the Command Window. Sorry that doesnt work. The console program, must run on a windows os and it always gives a popup(black) window :(

Just set the entry point onto a Class that you create, not a form, and then do stuff from there. Make sure that the project output type is set to a Windows Application. Here is a sample: using System; namespace sample { public class cMain { public cMain() { } private void DoSomething() { Console.WriteLine("Do some stuff here"); } ///
