How to remove repeated string from sentence?

ex-This Is Small and this is big.

i need this string as -This Is Small and big.

write a genric code for it.

there can be many repeated string in a sentence.

string answer = new String(code.Distinct().ToArray());

You can use below generic method for remove repeated string from sentence?

public string RemoveRepeatedStringGeneric(string input)
{
   var d = new Dictionary();
   System.Text.StringBuilder b = new System.Text.StringBuilder();
   string[] a = input.Split(new char[] { ' ', ',', ';', '.' },
   StringSplitOptions.RemoveEmptyEntries);
   foreach (string current in a)
   {
      string lower = current.ToLower();
      if (!d.ContainsKey(lower))
      {
         b.Append(current).Append(' ');
         d.Add(lower, true);
       }
   }
   string output = b.ToString().Trim();
   return output;
}
