How to read data from datatable in C#

I am developing a login page.First field is User name Secound field is Password and datatable has 3 field which is UserID,Password,UserName.I want to do after login page UserName show in text box how can do this.

Lets assume that you have a datatable like this.

and suppose your DataTable variable name is dtLoginTable.

then we can use following code to get userName.

string userName = dtLoginTable.Rows[0]["UserName"].ToString();

since there is only one record in datatable i have use zero(0) as row index.

I am alredy know that process.You don,t understand my question.I want to do read value from datatable.I want to Show userName.

Hi Methoun,

Is it windows form application or web application.

If it is windows form application , just declare a variable in main page

public static username="";

in Login page, login button event assign the value for that variable,

mainform _main=new mainform();
_main.username=textBox1.text

in mainform loadin event,

textBox1.text=username;

It will work and test
