how to make list like effect in csharp

hi.

i know how to query and extract data in csharp. i need to type in textbox(e.g) and need a list open with possible
items already populated, e.g like writing app in textbox shows a list of words apples, applications. etc etc may be i donot know which .net control is used for that affect.
note: i know how to use sql query with wildcard character.

hi mansoor, its very easy if you are developing web applications..here you go....its the best way to filter.

There are many articles in this web site; many about database programming and many about the controls that are available for us to use. I am not sure whether you are asking about databases or controls.

I suggest you try my article Database Table Update in a DataGridView without Writing Code. It might help. I understand that you are not sure what terminology to use to describe what you are trying to ask, so if you read some of the articles in this web site then you will understand better and you will be able to better describe what you need.
