how to get parent data?

how to get the parent data when we click a particular row in gridview?
means.......
i am having few text fields  & add button in header(above grid) when i click add button the textbox data are adding to grid,
and after adding to grid, when i click particular row that parent data has to display in their respective fields?
How to do that?
Can any one explain me?
