Any tips on how to make a virtual drive with managed or unmanaged code? thanks, geo

You'll probably have to use the Windows Device Driver Kit (DDK). There is an open-source project called VaporCD, which will mount an ISO file on your harddrive and provide it as a virtual CDROM Drive. It is available on sourceforge. It is MSVC and uses the DDK. It's not perfect, but will give you a good start. http://sourceforge.net/projects/vaporcd/
