i have text one text box and one button

when i click on button text box data save and i bind the data to grid here i dont allow duplicates in textbox or grid .how to check

Hi,
Assuming that you are saving data to your database, why don't you keep a check on button click whether data is already present in database or not? If data is available in database then prevent it from saving again.
