Declare a private color variable in your form. Then override the paint method for that form - inside the paint call base paint method then using the graphics object passed in the painteventargs draw a circle of whatever color your local color variable is. So, now you've got a colored circle (it is whatever color you make the private color var). Now, add a timer to the form, set it for 30 seconds and have that timer change the private color var from Color.Blue to Color.Red, and be sure to give a call to Invalidate() to force a redraw of the form. You could try using System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(500); Insert the line after the circle is painted blue, and then place the line to change the circle to red right after it. Sleep(1000) will wait 1 second before continuing execution of the next instruction line.
