I have created the asp.net core API.

asp.net core project in the diffrent project.

both are a diffrent project.

This URL How To call in ajax page in web Application Project.

First of all install NuGet Packages Manager "Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client" on your project.
Add reference on your page
using System.Net.Http;
using System.Net.Http.Headers;
using System.Threading.Tasks;
using System.Web.Mvc;
after that write this code to connect your Asp.Net Core API
public async Task Index()
        {
            List objReturn = null;
            using (var _httpteamlist = new HttpClient())
            {
                _httpteamlist.BaseAddress = new Uri("http://localhost:52521/api/");
                _httpteamlist.DefaultRequestHeaders.Clear();
                _httpteamlist.DefaultRequestHeaders.Accept.Add(new MediaTypeWithQualityHeaderValue("application/json"));
                HttpResponseMessage students = await _httpteamlist.GetAsync("StudentResults"); //StudentResults is Your Api Controller Name
                if (students.IsSuccessStatusCode == true)
