How to access my VB COM into C#?

Hi, Im just new to this environment and want to know how can I access my COM which created in VB into C#. In ASP I can able to use these COM without any error. Please help. Thanks

If you plan on signing your code, you will need to create a primary interop assembly rather than linking directly to the VB Com dll. To do this open the VS.Net Command prompt and type tlbimp [Your Com Dll] /out:MyCom.Interop.dll /keyfile:"keypair.snk" /primary You then add a reference to the primary interop assembly instead of you com object in the same fashion outlined above. regards, Dominique LeBlond

Hi, Hope u have created COM dll in VB . . . U can add this dll as a reference in C# . . . This can be done by clicking the menu, Project --> Add Reference... Now u'll get a Add Reference Dialog . . . Click COM Tab in that Dialog . . . Then click the Browse button and then add ur COM dll . . . Then click Ok button . . . Thats all . . . Now u can use as an ordinary C# reference . . . Cheers, Kanna
