How read barcode value

i am create super market billing software , i need bar code value read and the code individual value set amount and after read barcode amount count and view in c# windows application

There is no need of any api or anything to read barcode. I am working in same industries from last 8 years. You just need barcode scanner, thats it. Even you open notepad and scan that barcode with the help of scanner then it can show you values in it.

As Nirav and Leon mentioned, you will need first a barcode scanner or reader device.
If you want to generate and read barcode images in your Windows Forms C# application, you can use one of the barcode programming toolkits in your application.

For reading the bar code value, you have to use bar code reader device ,so when you want to read value your courser has make focus on text box and then read the value by bar code reader,Bar code Reader automatically copy the bar code value to focused text box of your software(application) , there is no need any type of code....
