Or alternatively ... try AWS or Azure, start DB for a few days and see if the performance and cost suit you.

Hi, For this there in no specific formula you can start now from 1 or 2 gb after that you can increase it according to ur need.

The Size of Organisation is 100-150 Employees, Data is you know what CRM & HRM Holds in their basic features.

It means I need VPS or Dedicated Server?

It depends on many factors:

- Size of organization

- Size of data that you expect to come

- Type of industry ?

A lot of hosting provider like GoDaddy give 1GB MySQL database and 200gb MS SQL

for starting you can go with these and then upgrade later.

I work for an organization, thats 5 years old.. we now have a database of around 12 GB

So yaa you can work out the maths.

You can take a minimum plan between 2-5 GB for beginning, later on you can increase it as per the data. Cost varies on shared/dedicated servers.
