How do Xamarin forms connect to SQL Server ?

How do I process the xamarin forms that connect to SQL Server and export data to the listView? I'm looking for this simple example. What do I find on google ?

for xamarin application you can use web services like web api or WCF web services for sql connection and you can call these services using json string

To the honest, If you are working with Xamring or any app then do not implement such heavy code within app, always consider to use services for any data operation cause you cannot install or keep SQL database in mobile app except SQLite or smilar one. So this approach will solve your most of problem...treat Xamrin app just for input and output in desired format and rest of your usual development behind the app.
