How can we send sharepoint list item's data to Maximo?

Hi all,

I am aiming to send data from sharepoint item (As soon as it is created or modified) to another tool: IBM Maximo.

I am really confused. I need experts' advice.

What are all the possible ways?

What is the most suitable method for this kind of data transfer?

Accepted answer
Write event receiver for ItemAdded and ItemModified events on SharePoint list.
The event receiver code will give a call to IBM Maximo.
