what you are asking is called "AutoMapper"

var config = new MapperConfiguration(cfg => {
cfg.CreateMap();
});
IMapper iMapper = config.CreateMapper();
var source = new FirstType();
var destination = iMapper.Map(source);

It is like cloning of one object to another.

If straight forward normal mapping, then go with manual mapping consideirng performance i.e. assign each of the object property values manually in a Mapper class. If you have complex mappng scenarios, use maping tools like AutoMapper.
