how can compile code to exe file from C# application ?

Read up on the System.Reflection and System.Reflection.Emit namespaces to generate IL code from your source and compile it through these classes. can be compiled to file or to an in-memory assembly easily.

There are C# and VB compilers in System.CodeDom namespace. You can easily use VB compiler, but C# compiler could be used only on computers with VS.NET installed. Take a look at MS license agreement about this.

Take a look at System.CodeDom. It has all compiler specific classes (most are abstract though) But maybe you can do something with it.

hi thanks Mr Cheers Simon for your reply, but i think csc.exe installed with VS.net and i want to compile the code on the user 's computer which has Dot Net frame work only , can i add the csc.exe to that computer and it will work or what can i do ? thanks again Mr Cheers Simon. John George.

Hi Use the command line commpiler csc.exe which is included in the .NET SDK. Cheers Simon
