Hosting MVC application in goDaddy

Hi, I am facing issue while deploying my website in goDaddy.com. I have tried in many ways but failed. Could you please help me on this.

Yes I had a chat with GoDaddy support team and this is what they said "Shared hosting doesn't support EF, VPS does but it costs 27 grand a year" so I shifted to Somee web hosting provider and now everything going fine

Hi Chakravarthy,

If so, your application wont work. Are you sure they dont support EF6? Have you ask their support team? If you need to run this EF6, then the solution is change hosting provider or purchase the VPS

Hi All, thanks for your replies, I was stuck with a silly mistake, I'm done with it. Thanks :)

FYI, the mistake was that I missed adding "Index.cshtml" as startup page and more than this GoDaddy doesn't support EF6 in shared hosting.

What is the error message that you see? Have you publish your site properly? Have you contact their support?

Before you host MVC application, you need to check whether your host provider (In your case it is GoDaddy) support MVC. You can contact them and ask about this. Or you can say them to solve that issue, I am sure they will do the needful. You just need to upload all the contents to your ftp folder. You can dial 040-49187600. Please make sure that you have your customer ID and pin number before you call.
