Help with a StreamWriter Class

You could use the StreamWriter like Mykonian said and read the file in line by line. For each line you could use the Split() method that every string variable carries with them. With Split() you could fragmentate the line of text into a string array. Maybe Split by every html tag or something. This way you can easely find a way to find what you're looking for.

Ok i will check it . In 2 words: i need to parse simple html file add and remove text in it by finding my "bookmarks" in it .

Instead of using a StreamWriter, you might want to use a FileStream, which allows both reading and writing.

I don't think it's possible with only using a StreamWriter object. Why don't you just rebuild the file from scratch?
