Help me with directx

first, are you starting new project with DirectX support, or are you trying to add directX to existing project? If new - then in your new project window you must select "DirectX C#(or VB) project wizard" and use it. Second, try to manually find Microsoft.DirectX.dll file and manually add it to project through Project->Add Reference-> Browse... Hope it will help.....

hi did u try from the main menu of visual studio project>add preferance if u try it and u didnot see Microsoft.Directx DLL files...............i donnot know the reason for that ............i installed the sdk ...........and i found the libraries in adding preferances sorry if i couldnot help u

i have this installer for directx 9 sdk but i can' find any option from the installation that it will added automatically in the visual studio.net 2003 assemblies. can you give me any idea how to deal with this?

hi may i understand your question wrong but u may need to add the dll files to the project to use the library
