Gridview and dropdown list and buttons Hiding

Hi All,

I need to hide Gridview 1 and some controls on the webpage like dropdown, textbox,radiobuttons..etc. when i click on dropdown item. And i need to display another new Gridview which contains records from different table.Without any javascript or jquery can we do it? If yes please post answers

You would need to handle DropDownList SelectedIndexChanged event and write the logic there for hiding and populating your GridViews with data. A quick example would be:
private string GetConnectionString(){
    //DBConnection is the name of the connection string that was set up from the web config file

requirement is currently web page has one dropdown which contains years like 2018,2019

so when i click on 2018 in dropdown , then it displays 2018 records in the gridview, as well as for 2019 also. But here new requirement came that is old Gridview should be there but we need to take one more dropdown which contains 2018 and 2019 years and we need to show some other table data into another gridview( in the new grid should).

So whenever we are selecting 2018 in the new dropdown , then immediately existing Gridview should be hidden. And if i choose old dropdown item then its Gridview should be display, new grid should be hidden.

dropdown1 its gridview1 should display.Gridview2 should be hidden

if i select dropdown2 new gridview2 should be display old gridview1 should be hidden
