thanks for ur reply...i added this google.maps.event.addListener(map, "idle", function () { google.maps.event.trigger(map, 'resize'); }); google.maps.event.addListener(map, 'resize', function () { map.setZoom(map.getZoom() - 1); map.setZoom(map.getZoom() + 1); }); this was working but not the correct way.This was calling resize function again and again, so becoz of this my marker blicks...

try triggering the "resize" event of the map when you initialize the map or the control where the map is getting displayed.
