A good developer is persistent (also known as being stubborn) in solving problems and does not give up easily when there are problems.
A good developer is methodical in diagnosing problems instead of using trial-and-error or making assumptions without verifying them.
So a good question would list qualities of developers that have already been found by doing research and then ask for clarification and other comments.
