Getting Client's MAC Address in C#

How can I get client's MAC Address that uses my application? All I am getting by googling is a javascript code that works only on IE. I need to this on Mozilla Firefox. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks a lot Afzaal for your help. I really appreciate it, however I still need to get that MAC address somehow. Is there any workaround. Please help. Thanks.

Client's MAC address isn't shared on HTTP protocol, that is why you cannot get it. Also, the client-side JavaScript only works in IE (as already mentioned).

Thanks for the help Afzaal. I really appreciate it. I have tried server side technology - asp.net, however it fetches MAC of the server rather than of client's machine, that's why I tried to do it with a client side scripting like javascript. If you have any idea about any other server side language that can do this, please share. Thanks

The one who helped you in finding that solution for IE, was Google or me on CodeProject?

Even Internet Explorer doesn't provide you with any default or standard-based method to get the MAC address, instead you need to use ActiveX technology. Firefox doesn't support that. I would still recommend, that you use some server-side language for this. They have more power our this feature.
