Get word from string based on its position

Hi,

I dont want to use split function logic.

I have strin like

'This,is,C#,Corner,Website'

If i provide 2 then it must give is,

If i provide 4 then it must give corner,

If i provide 5 then it must give website, and so on.

How can i do this

You can do with xml. Try below query for your 2,4 and 5

declare @string varchar(500)
set @string='This,is,C#,Corner,Website'
select CAST((''+REPLACE(@string,',' ,'')+'') AS XML).value('(/X)[2]', 'varchar(100)')
select CAST((''+REPLACE(@string,',' ,'')+'') AS XML).value('(/X)[4]', 'varchar(100)')
select CAST((''+REPLACE(@string,',' ,'')+'') AS XML).value('(/X)[5]', 'varchar(100)')

Hi manish ,
the script working perfectely ,but when im passing dynamic value instead of 2,4 and 5 like @Index it gives me error.
The argument 1 of the XML data type method "value" must be a string literal.

Sorry i forgot to mention that i need to do it in sql.
