generating events on client side

ASA, i am writing a quiz compitition software.Where the user will have a dum terminal.The question will be throwed to the client form.Now how can i generate an event on the client form by just clicking a button on the server side. Thanks!

You can do something called polling, that is, your client repeatedly asks whether server has something new to say.

that was one posibility, but i do believe that some how it can be done.

I guess you misunderstood the behavior of web services. And web in general. It uses HTTP that is request-reply -protocol. Client makes a request, and server responds. There's no way server initiating the message passing.
