or if your friend does not have the .NET framework installed, you can compile the project into a folder, zip the folder up, and send that over to your friend, assuming the .NET version you have allows for building .exe files. I would definetely recommend this approach over testing in somebody else's .NET. Sometimes just running the program stand-alone without the framework will let you see how a non-code savvy windows user makes use of your program. GO SOX!

The other person will have to have the .net framework installed. Then you can send him the exe that is generated when you debug the program.
