for (int i = 0; i < my_matrix[0].Length; i++) // i can't undertand this my_matrix[0].Length can anybody clear to me please.

Hi Upendra,

Here my_matrix is an array and you are trying to get first element length and this loop will run number of times.

i.e you first element of an array is 'ABC' then my_matrix[0].lenth retutns 3 and loop will run 3 times. Put debugger and check values, you will be able to see values.

Here my_matrix is an array of string and my_martix[0].length represent the number of characters present at 0th position of array string value.

Hi,

In your program my_matrix[0].Length refer to string length means it will calculate length of string of first word or number which is stored in array.

my_matrix.length refer to array length ang calculate number of element in array.

Hi,

let suppose my_matrix = ["Ram",'Shyam'];

then my_matrix[0]= "Ram";

Array. Length Property is used to get the total number of elements in the array

my_matrix.Length= 2 (ie total no of element)

String. Length Property .Used to get the number of characters in the current String object

my_matrix[0].Length = 3 ( ie number of characters)

Or

"Ram".Length =3

In my_matrix[0] array data is there for example data is 1)ABC then my_matrix[0].Length is 3 2)data is 20 then length is 2. For loop will loop till i< array length
