I think you will learn more when you visit North India. Plus we should plan a meeting in South India as well. Our next plan is in East Coast, USA and then West Coast, USA.

But good news is, almost everybody, who is in IT (specifically programmers), do speak good enough English so you would have no problem.
Indian culture is much larger and has a wider scope of languages, local cultures and slangs. If I go to a different state, I would not be able to speak or understand. Even, I go to a local village if I am not from there, it will be difficult for me to understand. Keep in mind, the culture is thousands years old but it was more like small tribes in ancient times and every tribe developed it's own mini-culture and local language.

But yes, if you are not used to, it takes couple of days to adjust. May next year, we a few key members USA will come to INDIA for the Summit.
Also, we will plan a Summit in USA soon.
