Expect Big Hike With Less Experience

Hi,

I was carrying 3.6years of exp as a .Net developer with Asp.net MVC, C#, SQL, etc., So here can i expect more salary which is not related to my experience or i should follow as per market/company standards. Bcoz i need money in very badly. Pease anyone give me a suggestion to my post.

In my opinion, salary negotiation is a skill.

If you can then demonstrate to your future employer that you deserve an above-average salary. Thus, your future employer won't think twice.

Moreover, lesser experience doesn't mean you have less value as a programmer or developer. It all boils down to your attitude, learning style, leadership, and communication skills.

Hi Praveen Acha,

Your question related to big hike,somewhere relates to sentiment of many software engineering. There is no limit of big hike even in case of less experience. What technical stack you mentioned are quite rich set. Additionally you can add some cloud related skills. With 3 years of experience ,first you can put efforts to make yourself technically sound in your skill set and then try to look for opportunities with some top 100 companies and even with few good product based companies.

Even these days start-ups are paying handsome salary with these skill sets, so you can try in those companies as well.

Hello Praveen Acha, You have to google or ask colleagues to know about which companies can offer more package, then when you get call for interview you can ask more package they will ask you why you want more package or they may not ask you, so have to demand and convince them by telling i know these are programming languages and technologies and i am currently upgrading these programming languages and technologies and also mention in resume if you have gained C# Corner MVP or Micrsoft MVP status, mention if your supporting any technical communities by helping others or by writing articles / blogs / if your speaker this might give weightage.Your working on asp.net mvc so learn .Net Core quickly this is advantage and help you.
