Drop down list in mvc

Hi abhishek. Actually i want to add country dropdown list in edit action and also it has to show selected country in default he selected at the time of creating his profile and then dropdown for edit country name in the same textbox. if user want to select another country then he will go for drop down list if not then it has to show default one which he selected firstly.
