Drawin and Moving

Derive a class from Label or picture box depending on your preference. Once its derived then override the Onpaint method protected override void OnPaint(PaintEventArgs e) { DrawSomeLine(e.Graphics); } void DrawSomeLine(Graphics g) { g.DrawLine(......); } Once you have the class made. then instead of using Label use Myclass instead. so instead of private System.Windows.Forms.Label label1; you would do private MyClass label1; now you have your object that has a x and y cordinate now just make keypress event handler public void OnKeyPress(object sender,System.Windows.Forms.KeyEventArgs e) { if (e.KeyCode == System.Windows.Forms.Keys.Left) { label1.SetBounds ( label1.Location.X - 4, label1.Location.Y, label1.Width, label1.Height ); } if (e.KeyCode == System.Windows.Forms.Keys.Right) { label1.SetBounds ( label1.Location.X + 4, label1.Location.Y, label1.Width, label1.Height ); } .... } this should get you on the right track.... also look at my article on codeprodject. http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/FrogGoHop.asp
